Musical director for the Prince in Cthen

Cantor of St. Thomas's school in Leipzig

So this is where it begins. From here on I have compiled a good biography of Bach's life. I have also taken the responsibility of summarising my writings in the Fact file on the left. It is imperative that the reader realizes that in the biography, there is little to no mention of the pieces, as these are all delved into, in their seperate categories.

When compiling this, I kept very much to the opinions of the the various writers from which my bibliography is attained. Anything that might clash with knowledge that the reader might have, is important to me, and I would like to know about it, so either Sign My Guestbook, or Mail me. Either way, I will take into consideration what you have said, and make any alterations that I deem necessary.

I hope that Bach fascinates you as much as he does me, for I have only done this for my love for the composer's music. I also hope that you are able to gain something out of this experience, and use it well for any assignments. Some facts-which I believe to be trivial- have been omitted for the sake of pure simplification. I hope that these few pages serve for easy reading.

On the left of this, is the several segments of Bach's life, as I have divided them. It is easy to use, so just click on where you want to go. Each section is approximately 1 page, for easy loading. I have also taken the longer stretches of significance in his life, and divided them into seperate pages(as noted in the sections).Have a good time.

On to Bach's Childhood
